Her Impact

More than all these impressive statistics and her achievements the most important thing that she did was the impact she had in the tennis game and for young females in India. Sania Mirza was the first global female superstar athlete that every Indian knew about and looking at her many young women thought that if she can reach such heights and become such a big star while being a woman then they can also do it

It was not necessary that they would have to do it in tennis and young women such as Vinesh Phogat, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Nikhat Zareen etc and they looked upto Sania Mirza as one of their heroes and they wanted to be like her and now so many of these women have become the best in the world in their respective sports. Sania Mirza is in the same league as Mary Kom as she is the best in tennis and hopefully more young tennis female players will make India proud.
