The story of Pakistan from this ongoing World Cup is nothing short of a fairytale as such things rarely happen in sport, especially a World Cup. Pakistan were out and done from the tournament after their kiss against Zimbabwe but after that Destiny was in their favor and they won their next 4 Matches on the trot to now reach the final of the World Cup at the MCG.

Learning from mistakes
The Pakistan team made a lot of mistakes in the first 2 Matches of the World Cup and they were almost nearly out of the World Cup but with time remaining they learned from the mistakes they made and they batted much better and made a big change by bringing in Mohammad Haris in the team and their bowling also came to the party.
Netherlands helped them
This reason cannot be ignored at all because if Netherlands did not win that match vs South Africa then Pakistan would have been out of the tournament and they would not have reached the semi final. The Netherlands caused the biggest shock of this World Cup by beating South Africa and this opened the door for Pakistan and they took it with both hands.

Shaheen , Babar and Rizwan back In form
This is also a very important reason why Pakistan have come this far and their main players have come back to form at the right time. Shaheen Shah Afridi has found his best bowling form with each match in this World Cup and in the semi final yesterday it was the turn of Muhammad Rizwan and Babar Azam to come to the party as they made an unbeaten 105 run stand and ate now set for the final.
Never say die attitude
This is one of the most important reasons for any team to do what Pakistan have done in this World Cup. They could have easily given up on their World Cup but they fought till the last ball every match and as a result for their hard work and dedication they are now in the final. This is a lesson for everyone that If you have a never say die attitude then anything is possible.
