2020/21 campaign has lit up with fascinating creators that leave no ground to contribute goals for their team. These attackers have proven to be decisive in the final third for defenders to have nightmares in stopping them. All of these famous names have lit up the Premier League like never before.
Their numbers are not only startling at the number of times they found the back of the net but also times they have found a teammate to do the rest. By then, the clubs have flourished with these forwards and attacking midfielders helping them earn valuable points to meet their objectives, coming to the business end of the season.
5. Son Heung-Min (9)
The South Korean star has once again won hearts with his exhibition of top-notch performance in front of goal. With Spur's talisman Harry Kane, Son has been incredible and unstoppable. In a see-saw season that saw the club from North London being a title contender to falter in the sixth place, these two have remained the bright spark in the attack. Son has been clinical in front of goal yet again by scoring 13 times but his classy partnership with Harry Kane has helped him earn 9 crucial assists. Of course, half of them have been led for the club captain. The flashy winger is due to offer many many more in days to come.
4. Jack Grealish (10)
If it isn't for his injury-wracked season, he would have topped the goal-creating list. Aston Villa's talisman and club captain Jack Grealish once again proved his class by mounting up an incredible season. Without him, Villa plummeted from being a European chasing squad to settle in a top ten place. Grealish's impact has been immense. His outstanding dribbling qualities with deadly progression inside the box makes him a lethal winger or an advanced number 8. Hopefully the 25-year-old returns on time to add more to his tally and make the England squad for the Euros.
3. Bruno Fernandes (10)
Without the Portuguese, Manchester United couldn't have put together a steady development of themselves in these two seasons since arrival in January of 2020. Bought from Sporting CP, Bruno Fernandes's creativity has taken his club to an upward level. After a major impact the last term, Fernandes has racked up 10 assists this season in guiding United to move into the second position of the Premier League table. The attacking midfielder's quick forward passes have been a spectacle to watch and helped his teammates deliver when it mattered. The Red Devils are hopeful for bigger things with him at the helm.
2. Kevin De Bruyne (11)
Manchester City are rocking up the first place yet again and on course to win yet another league title. Naturally, it is Kevin De Bruyne once again pulling up the strings. Of course not depended upon him entirely, the Belgian has again provided his magic on the pitch. Although his best assist tally came last season with 20, a joint-record with Thierry Henry, he has already racked up 11 this term. De Bruyne has to play a more advanced role this season and it has helped him flourish further. The guy is just a sensational player.
1. Harry Kane (13)
However, this season the assist king goes to a player that evolved his game to the next level. Harry Kane is not only topping the goal-scoring chart with 17 strikes but also produced 13 assists for Tottenham. His telepathic combination with Son, dropping as a number 10 and guiding the ball to rushing attackers in Jose's counter-attacking tactics has been out of the world. The fact that the elite goalscorer can do stuff like these has put him into transfer speculation to finally leave the club for bigger ambition. He is having his best season in contributing goals and is a prime contender for the player of the season.
