In their hard time as a country, the Sri Lankan cricket team is ready to inspire the nation once again in the year 2023, just like they battle and shine in 2022.
Sri Lanka are ready to start 2023 with the white-ball series in India. Then, Sri Lanka will tour New Zealand for a complete series.
Ireland are also ready for their historic tour in Sri Lanka. In this tour, they will play one Test and two ODIs.
If Sri Lanka are lucky enough, they can qualify for the 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship Final. It will surely be an inspiration for the country.
As Sri Lanka haven’t secured their place for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, they may have to play ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 in Zimbabwe to secure their tickets for the CWC 2023.
Pakistan will also travel to Sri Lanka for a Test series, a part of the 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship.
After participating in the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan, Sri Lanka will participate in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India if they qualify.
