Neetu David was ruling records in her era and had been the first bowler to achieve many milestones. She was the first bowler to take 100 wickets for India in WODI. She is still the third highest wicket taker for India in Women tests and second highest in Women ODI's. Most wickets taken by stumping by her bowling in WODI's(32). She got best bowling figures in tests of 8/53 and this is also best bowling analysis in an innings. She is also one of the very few players to have two consecutive four wicket hauls in women's cricket.

Neetu David, as already her records speak was a spin wizard of her times. Her best performance of 5/20 in WODI's came against WI women's in 2nd ODI on February 29, 2004 at Jamshedpur. In the alloted 10 overs, she bowled 9.4 overs with 3 maidens, 5 wickets at an economy of just 2.03 removing opener as well as last batter of WI to help India women restrict WI W to just 161, which was easily chased by INDW for loss of 3 wickets in 41.3 overs to win the match. For her best bowling figures, Neetu David was awarded player of the match.
Neetu David currently is in BCCI's women's selection committee and is playing a major role in identifying young talents to shine in Indian Women's Cricket.
