On January 19, 2022, Glenn Maxwell played an extraordinary innings of 154 not out off just 64 balls for the Melbourne Stars against the Hobart Hurricanes at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Maxwell's explosive knock included 22 fours and 4 sixes, and he maintained an astonishing strike rate of 240.62. This remarkable performance helped the Stars secure a memorable victory.


2. Marcus Stoinis (147*)

This is the most extraordinary innings in BBL History and Marcus Stoinis while playing for the Melbourne Stars absolutely destroyed the Sydney Sixers bowling attack that day and gave an exhibition in big hitting batting and scoring so many runs in a 20 overs innings is staggering. He hit 13 fours and 8 huge sixes and scored 147* in just 79 balls at a strike rate of over 186 , he created history and the record will take some beating. It is one of the best ever T20 innings.


3. Josh Brown (140)

On January 22, 2024, Josh Brown delivered a sensational innings of 140 runs off just 57 balls for the Brisbane Heat against the Adelaide Strikers at the Carrara Oval. His knock featured 10 fours and 12 sixes, with a phenomenal strike rate of 245.61, showcasing his explosive batting prowess in the T20 format.

 

4. Matthew Wade (130)

This sensational innings by Matthew Wade is one of the most destructive innings in BBL History. That day he was in such a mood that he will hit every bowler out of the ground as he hit 130 amazing runs off just 61 balls with 7 massive sixes to boast off in the innings. He scored all these runs at a strike rate of over 213 runs and If he hadn’t got out then he would be the number 1 on this list but still he is a part of history forever.

 

5. Ben McDermott (127)

This innings by Ben McDermott is the latest innings to feature on this list and he has earned himself the number 5th spot on this list. This was an absolutely outstanding innings and he hit 9 fours and 9 sixes in his monster innings of 127 runs in just 65 balls at an astounding strike rate of over 195 in the entire innings. This was an exhibition of six hitting at I  finest by one of the premier batters in the BBL and this innings will be remembered for a long time by all the fans of Hobart Hurricanes.
