The last WWE SmackDown of 2022 was one for the history books and the show in Tampa was one of the biggest shows of the year for WWE and Triple H made a big statement with that show. A few great Matches were announced for the show and then on top of that we got some amazing segments which furthered the feuds further and the build to the Royal Rumble has picked up
The show was advertised as the return of John Cena to have a WWE match for the first time in 2022 and this helped him to keep the streak alive of having at least 1 WWE match every year since 2002. And A SmackDown Women’s Title match was also announced before so let’s look into the results for WWE SmackDown.
Bray Wyatt and LA Knight make it official
The show started with Bray Wyatt making his entrance and he was doing a promo and then LA Knight came out and challenged him to a match at the Royal Rumble and Bray Wyatt accepted this challenge. This will be the first PPV match on the main roster for LA Knight and it will be at the Royal Rumble and against Bray Wyatt in a pitch black match. At the end Uncle Howdy makes his way to the ring and it looks like he is going to attack LA Knight but to everyone’s shock he takes out Bray Wyatt
Sheamus vs Solo Sikoa
This was yet another match where 2 great wrestlers went against each other and they had a brawl but in the end it was Solo Sikoa who won the match with the help of The Bloodline and after the match they attached Sheamus but Drew McIntyre returned to make the save and now we will see The Usos vs Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for the Titles next week

Ronda beats Raquel and then loses her title to Charlotte Flair
There is a lot to talk about here , firstly Ronda Rousey beat Raquel Rodriguez in a great match and retained her title. Raquel took her to the limit and had the best match in quite some time but in the end Ronda made Raquel tap out. After the match Ronda was about to celebrate but then Charlotte Flair came out and then in shocking fashion she won her 14th Women’s title in WWE and things have been changed.
Gunther vs Braun Strowman is made official
Imperium were in the ring and they were gloating about Gunther and then Braun Strowman came to the ring and laid out Imperium and then the match for the Intercontinental Championship was made official for SmackDown after 2 weeks.
Sami Zayn and The Bloodline
This was the overarching story throughout the night as firstly we saw Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman talking and it looked like Paul Heyman was not being truthful to Sami Zayn and then later in the night Roman Reigns seemed to be upset by the fact that the fans were chanting Sami Zayn all the time but then came the main event where it was Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens and John Cena and John Cena got a huge pop and the match was good but in the end Sami Zayn got pinned and technically this was the first loss for Roman Reigns in 3 years. So, things do not look good for Sami Zayn going forward.
