Next week is the concluding week for NXT Gold Rush and if Week 1 is anything to go by then Week 2 will be even better because Shawn Michaels likes to go one better than his previous show and he has the match card to back it up and there are 5 Matches that have been booked for the show and majority of them are championship matches. WWE NXT Gold Rush has been a winner and it looks like Shawn Michaels will continue to keep this 2 week concept in the years to come as well.
So, let’s look at the Matches set for Week 2 of WWE NXT Gold Rush Week 2:
Carmelo Hayes vs Baron Corbin for NXT Championship
This will be the main event for the show next week and the build for this match has been good with both wrestlers getting the better of each other and Carmelo Hayes getting the better in the microphone. And this match will be a great match because Baron Corbin is a much better wrestle than most people give him credit for and Carmelo Hayes can have a banger against anybody and this will be a worthy main event for the fans as well and Carmelo Hayes will win the match.
Tiffany Straton vs Thea Hail for NXT Women’s Championship
This is a match that is one that can steal the show because both of these young women are stars in the making and especially The Hail because she is just 19 years and she has the biggest opportunity of her career and she will make the most of it and Tiffany Straton will continue to be a great champion and this match should go on for 15 minutes and let these two women have a barn burner and Thea Hail will become a bigger superstar after this match and Tiffany Straton will continue her reign at the top for a long period of time.
Gallus vs Edris Enofe and Malik Blade for NXT Tag Team Titles
This is the third championship match that will happen at this show and this is the only match that has continued for all 2 weeks of this event as Edris Enofe and Malik Blade won a number 1 contenders match and they have earned their way to this match and this match will be a showcase for the tag division and this should also go for 15 minutes and both teams should be allowed to have the best match Possible and in the end it will be Gallus who will retain their titles because they will have a long reign.
Nathan Frazier vs Dragon Lee for NXT Heritage Cup
This is the match that has the fans the most excited because these are two of the best young NXT wrestlers in the world and these two are fighting for the NXT Heritage Cup and because of this match the prestige of the Heritage Cup will go up as these wrestlers will give it their all and they will entertain the fans and as these two are faces therefore there will be no cheating in the match and it will be a fair contest. This match has the capacity to steal the entire 2 weeks and Nathan Frazier will retain his NXT Heritage Cup.
