WWE Crown Jewel 2023 is in the books and it was once again a very good PPV with some truly great matches and some good matches. There were a total of 8 Matches on this show. More than 10,000 fans were at the arena and they were loud for most of the night and they were in the big matches. The WWE universe In Saudi Arabia is one of the best in the world. Sami Zayn beat JD McDonough
This was the one kickoff show match and this was between Sami and JD McDonough. The fans in Saudi Arabia were loud for Sami Zayn and they treated him like he was a hometown hero. He was cheered throughout the match and he and JD McDonough had a very good 10 minutes match. They hit each other with a lot of moves and they even went above and beyond. Sami Zayn won with the Blue Thunder Bomb. This will give momentum to Sami Zayn.

Seth Rollins beat Drew McIntyre for World Heavyweight Championship
This was the first match in the actual PPV and it can be said that this was the best match of the show. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre had an unbelievable match which was worthy of being a World Heavyweight Championship match. They had a 19 minute match and in this match the crowd was cheering for both men and they were delivering a classic. There were no interruptions in this match and there were a number of close falls in this match as well. Seth Rollins beat Drew McIntyre after he gave a Pedigree and a Stomp. After the match Damian Priest tried to cash in and Sami Zayn attacked him and stole the briefcase. Rhea Ripley then confronted Drew McIntyre.
Rhea Ripley beat Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark for Women’s World Championship
The next match was a Fatal Five Way Match for the Women’s World Championship. This match was 11 minutes and the women delivered and they showed the WWE universe that they can also have a great match. This was a match where Rhea Ripley showed why she is the woman in WWE and why everyone will have to beat her. All the other 4 women got their opportunity to shine and especially Shayna Baszler was the star. Rhea Ripley hit the Riptide from the top rope and pinned Shayna Baszler to retain.
Solo Sikoa beat John Cena
This was the match that was the most shocking. It is because of what happened in this match and how this match ended. This was a good 16 minute match between the 2 generations and Solo Sikoa carried John Cena throughout the match. It was a 16 minute match and perhaps the last one in the WWE career of John Cena. They fought for a while but after that it was the Solo Sikoa show as he gave multiple Samoan Spikes to John Cena including a total of 11 and after that he pinned John Cena. This has established Solo Sikoa as the next big star in WWE.
Logan Paul beat Rey Mysterio for United States Championship
This was the only match where a championship changed hands in this show. This match was among the Top 3 Matches of the night. Logan Paul was trying to win the United States Championship and Rey Mysterio was trying to retain. They had a 18 minute match where Logan Paul again showed that he is truly one of the best in the world. He hung in there with Rey Mysterio; he even saved the neck of Rey Mysterio in this match. Logan Paul used brass knuckles to win the match and now it will be interesting to see how This title reign goes.
Iyo Sky beat Bianca Belair for WWE Women’s Championship
This match was the second women’s match of the night and this was by far the better match. This match was 17 minutes long and both women gave it their all. The crowd was dead as they were saving their energy for the next 2 Matches in the show. They showed the world that they are two of the best in the world. And then the much anticipated return of Kairi Sane happened and the WWE fans watching at home were happy but the fans at Saudi Arabia had no idea who she was. She helped Iyo Sky retain and Bayley was not happy seeing this.
Cody Rhodes beat Damian Priest
The co main event match of the show was between Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest. This was another good match between the duo but this could have happened at a Raw and it did not need a PPV. Damian Priest was with The Judgement Day and they tried to beat Cody Rhodes but Jey Uso came to the aid of Cody Rhodes and after 11 minutes of good wrestling it was Cody Rhodes who won the match.

Roman Reigns beat LA Knight for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Finally it was time for the main event of the show and it was LA Knight who was challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship. The fans at Saudi Arabia were firmly behind LA Knight as they flashed signs of YEAH throughout the match and all the fans at the arena had it. LA Knight got a huge pop and the crowd was booing Roman Reigns mercilessly. Roman Reigns vs LA Knight was the second best match of the night and they had a 21 minutes match and LA Knight came very close to beating LA Knight but Jimmy Uso helped Roman Reigns and he retained the championship and his record reign continues.
