WrestleMania 38 Night One Results Part-2

In the Part-1 of the WrestleMania 38 Night One Results article we talked about the two biggest moments in the show tonight but there were two women’s title matches as well and both of them were really good but one was better than the other and those who have watched WrestleMania will know which one and the ones who have not, I will tell you. All the four women who wrestled tonight put their bodies on the line for the fans and to stand out and be remembered for a long time and they did that and it was great seeing the evolution of women at WrestleMania since 2016 the last time WrestleMania was in Dallas.

All four women involved in the two title matches this year were main eventers of WrestleMania before so the fans expected high quality and physics matches and they got all of it in abundance and as a fan it was very satisfying to see the women in WWE have the better matches on the show and hopefully this allows for more than 3 matches at WrestleMania next year in Hollywood. So without any further ado let’s look at these two matches from WrestleMania 38 Night One.

Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair – Raw Women’s  Championship

This was the first of the two women’s matches on the card and all the fans were very excited to see this match because the story was so good and the build of Bianca Belair since SummerSlam last year leading to this match was Stupendous if I may say that and both these women had the audience in the hand and they both started telling the story of the match before the bell even rang and then for the next 20 minutes they showed excellence in professional wrestling.

The entrances of these two superstars were amazing as Becky Lynch came out first and her intro was similar to that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which was a very nice touch and made her look like an ever bigger star and the it only got better from there as she entered the stage in a big car fitting for Big Time Beck’s and when she came out everyone was in awe of her attire because it was absolutely incredible and she was looking incredible in all black just like the evil she is in this story and then Bianca Belair had her entrance and it was better as a choir came out to enter her to the ring and she was also looking amazing. Then the match started and Becky hit the Manhandle slam and tried to repeat SummerSlam but it did not happen and everyone was relieved but Becky was trying to win quickly but the EST was not to be denied today and after a glorious 20 minutes match it wax Bianca who hit Becky with the KOD and won the Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania. It was a beautiful moment and I may or may not have gotten emotional.

Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey – SmackDown Women’s Championship

This was the second women’s title match of the night and this match had a tough spot on the card as it was following the blockbuster return of Cody Rhodes to WWE and then the 5 star match with Seth Rollins but if there were any two women who could get the crowd hyped again it wax these two and they did just that but the finish of this match suggested that there will be a rematch at the next PPV. The entrances in this match were not as grand as the other one and it was a good thing it wax simple because the would win the fans in the ring.

The match started and it was physical and both of them were trying to pin the other one but to no avail and then they started applying submission moves on each other like the Ankle lock, Armbad, Figure Eight etc but the other one had the answer to it so it was tough to get a winner then suddenly Ronda by mistake kicked Charlotte to the red and Charlotte tool advantage and won the match but Ronda was not happy at all and it looks like at the next PPV she will take that title.
