This day was going to come sooner rather than later and the only one responsible for this is Matt Riddle himself. No one likes to see people lose their jobs but Matt Riddle had too much baggage and WWE gave him a lot of chances but he chose not to improve himself. WWE have released more than 20 wrestlers in these latest run of cuts. The fans were not happy with a majority of these because either they were not given the chance to shine or they were let go after giving more than 20 years to WWE. Superstars like Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin were released by WWE after they spent their whole lives in WWE and superstars like Mustafa Ali. However the next day just before WWE SmackDown WWE announced that Matt Riddle has been released from WWE and the WWE fans were not surprised. Matt Riddle has had too many chances from WWE to be a better person but instances from outside the ring were too many to ignore.
Matt Riddle came to the WWE 5 years ago when he was released from the UFC. Dana White told everyone that he was a problem but still WWE gave him a chance. He was a great Wrestler but his attitude was the problem. He said that he would be the one to retire Brock Lesnar and Brock Lesnar did not take too kindly to that. He had an issue with Goldberg which went for a long period of time and it got resolved. Then he got into a real life beef with Seth Rollins when his ex wife said not so good comments about Becky Lynch. He had only 1 friend in the WWE and that was Randy Orton. Even he was not happy with Matt Riddle at first but as time went on they became good friends and formed RKBro which was the best part in the WWE career of Matt Riddle. Matt Riddle could have been such a big WWE superstar in the years to come. WWE was prepared to let it all go but the one incident at the airport in New York where he accused that he was sexually assaulted and taken advantage of and when the report came it was actually found that Matt Riddle was intoxicated. This was the last straw because Matt Riddle had lied and WWE decided that enough was enough and they let Matt Riddle go. Matt Riddle will find success anywhere but he has to improve his attitude or he will not be able to stick anywhere.
