2) Pedro Morales – 424 Days
This is a name that has been in many of these lists and most famously he is also in the list for the longest reigning World Champions of all time with 1027 days and Roman Reigns will pass that mark very soon and he was a generational wrestler from Puerto Rico and he is still beloved by all and many latina wrestlers have come up in WWE looking at him and he was just 30 days short of having the longest reign.
3) Randy Savage – 414 Days
At number 3 is the all time great Randy Savage and he is one man who took the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship to another level and he was the man who had the best matches for this title and this became the Workhorse Championship. Randy Savage was only 10 days behind Pedro Morales and has to be at the number 3 spot.

This great man would no longer hold the number 4 spot for much longer because the man who is at number 5 will overtake him very soon and this man also was an incredible Intercontinental Champion and he also had great matches for this championship and he was a man who was 30 days behind Macho Man Randy Savage and he is in the number 4 spot as of now.
5) Gunther – 355+ Days and counting
Gunther has been the greatest Intercontinental Champion of the modern era and certainly of the last 30 years and the dominance he has shown over this reign is astounding and now the WWE fans want him to beat the record of Honky Tonk Man and he should be the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time and in the first week of September he will break the record and then he can go and make more history.
