Has the Bloodline Storyline lost its momentum after WrestleMania 39

Going into WrestleMania 39, the Bloodline storyline was the best story in wrestling and it was in the debate for the best story in wrestling history looking at how many layers it has had and how all the performers in the story main evented both nights of WrestleMania 39 and deservedly so. The Bloodline story has been going for almost 3 years and for all that time Roman Reigns has been the champion and he is fast approaching the 1000 day mark as the champion.

However after WrestleMania 39 it can be clearly seen that the momentum is not the same and Roman Reigns has not been on TV for the last 5 weeks and on this Friday will be his first appearance since WrestleMania 39 and now that he will be back it can be expected that the momentum will pick up but let’s talk about whether the momentum really has slowed down this much.

Yes, The Momentum of the Bloodline Storyline has slowed down after WrestleMania 39

The answer to the question whether the Bloodline storyline has lost its momentum completely after WrestleMania 39 is a no but if the question is whether the momentum has allowed down then the answer is yes. After WrestleMania 39, it is a bit of a lull period for WWE but WWE Backlash was so good and the fans were so loud there that the PPV became must see. And The Bloodline started the break up of the faction as The Usos lost their tag team titles and Solo Sikoa is waiting to hurt his brothers.

The story leading into Backlash was good in some parts but without the head of the table, the Bloodline feels incomplete and The Usos and Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman are doing their best to keep the momentum going but it is just not hitting the right notes as of now. The interesting part is that The Usos are not fully aware as to what is coming their way and this Friday at SmackDown Roman Reigns will make a decision for them. The match at WWE Backlash was good and the story being told in that match was top notch where Solo Sikoa and The Usos were not on the same page.

The storyline is expected to pick up it’s Momentum starting this Friday on SmackDown when Roman Reigns returns and he will be back for a few months till SummerSlam in August and so the fans can expect the former glory of the Bloodline story to be back. Patience is a virtue and the fans need to have patience for the storyline to play out because now the breakup of the Bloodline will start and it will be absolutely glorious to witness.
