Ronda Rousey has had 2 stints in WWE and the difference in between both her runs could not be more huge as her star power and her aura took a nosedive in the second run in WWE and she was nothing special and just a regular wrestler whereas she has been anything but regular throughout her whole combat sports career. Ronda Rousey has been the woman who was responsible for the women’s division in UFC and because of her all the women who wanted to fight in UFC have a platform now.

A journey like no other
Ronda Rousey first signed with WWE in January of 2018, which was over 5 years ago and she was the hottest female in the wrestling business and everyone was so interested in seeing how she will do in WWE. The WWE fans were skeptical and they had every right to be so as to how she would do in WWE and when her first WWE match at WrestleMania 34 teaming with Kurt Angle against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was announced. When the match came around then she shocked the fans around the world and she had one of the best debut matches in WWE and then her year just kept getting better. She was in women’s Championship Matches and she won the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam against Alexa Bliss. She was a face for most of her first run but she turned heel before WrestleMania and it was because of her that the women in WWE got the chance to main event WrestleMania 35 in a triple Threat match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for all the Titles.
After WrestleMania 35, her first run with the WWE had ended and she should have ended it there and her legacy would not have been tarnished in WWE. She took a few years of and she had a baby daughter and everything was going well but Vince McMahon brought her in at Royal Rumble 2022 and that was the biggest mistake that Ronda Rousey made by accepting his offer where she should have declined his offer to come back. She won the Royal Rumble last year and she did not even get the main event spot at WrestleMania and then her attitude towards WWE and the fans made her a real life villain. She won the SmackDown Women’s Championship but the WWE fans did not care one but and she was not happy and Liv Morgan beat her for the title at Money in the Bank. She tried to make it work but it was too late and she had become just another woman in the roster.
This was unimaginable in 2018 and beyond where she was the center of attention and everything has stopped for her. She was at the top of the world and she had a good attitude towards wrestling initially. She was getting no reactions in her second run and the fans would use her matches as washroom breaks which is the ultimate sign that the wrestler is doing nothing. Ronda Rousey had fallen from Grace and she decided that SummerSlam would be her last match in WWE and she took on Shayna Baszler and she put her over on the way out. Now finally she can be away from WWE and from all the fan scrutiny. The likes of Logan Paul, Bad Bunny and Pat McAfee were also from the outside but the WWE fans respect and love them because they have a positive attitude towards wrestling and they bring their audience to watch WWE and they are some of the best wrestlers in the world. The best example is Brock Lesnar, he still feels like a special attraction even after 20 years and his attitude towards the sport and WWE should have been the role model for Ronda Rousey. Brock Lesnar is beloved by the fans and he has earned their love and everlasting respect.
