The 32nd Olympic Games, which have been postponed for a year, are set to begin next week. The Games' opening ceremony will take place on July 23 at Tokyo's newly built National Stadium, while the closing ceremony will take place on August 8. The contingent, which has an average age of 26.99 years, is diverse, with skeet shooter Mairaj Ahmed Khan, 45, is the oldest and 10m air rifle shooter Divyansh Singh Panwar, 18, being the youngest. Six of the group's members are under the age of 19. Wrestling is a sport in which India has a prominent presence at the next Summer Olympics.
Wrestling is one of the world's oldest sports, and the activity has a lengthy history in India. In international wrestling contests, Indian wrestlers have won multiple medals. So far, India has won five Olympic medals in wrestling: one silver and four bronze. India has also finished on the podium on 18 occasions at the World Championships. The Indian Wrestling team's full schedule may be seen here. Before that, we'll take a look at the wrestlers who have already qualified for the main event.
