Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja completed his 250 Test wickets during the ongoing Delhi Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2022/23. With that achievement, Jadeja became the second fastest cricketer to complete double 2500 runs and 250 wickets in Test cricket.
India are currently busy against Australia in the second Test of the BGT 2022/23 at Delhi. On the first day of the Test match, while Australia were all out for 263 runs in their first innings, Ravindra Jadeja had the bowling figures of 21-2-68-3. The left-arm spinner took the wickets of opener Usman Khawaja (81), captain Pat Cummins (33) and Todd Murphy (0) in that innings.
Jadeja picked up his first wicket of the match by dismissing the dangerous Usman Khawaja, thanks to KL Rahul’s splendid catch. It was the 250th Test wicket for the left-handed spinner Jadeja, who already completed 2500 Test runs in July 2022.
While Jadeja is playing his 62nd Test match, he became the fastest Indian and second fastest overall cricketer to complete the Test double – 2500 runs and 250 wickets.
With two more wickets, Jadeja completed that innings with 252 Test wickets.

Second fastest cricketer to complete 2500 runs and 250 wickets in Test cricket. English cricketer Ian Botham is the record holder in this list after completing these in only 55 Tests.
