Before entering the tournament Novak Djokovic was not sure whether he would play at Wimbledon because of a knee injury. Carlos Alcaraz has had his game scouted in the past year. However exactly 12 months after that epic Final in 2023, it will be the same two men vying for the Wimbledon Championship.

Carlos Alcaraz was having yet another incredible year as a tennis player. He has a record of 26-6 this year and he has won the French Open. He will be looking to win his second Wimbledon Title in a row. In the 3rd round he had his toughest match as he was made to go 5 sets. Francis Tiafoe of the USA was at his best. The score of the match was 5-7, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 and 6-2. In the Round of 16, he faced Ugo Humbert and this was a 4 set match where Carlos Alcaraz won by 6-3,6-4,1-6 and 7-5. Carlos Alcaraz beat Tommy Paul in the Quarter Final. Then in the semi final he took on Daniil Medvedev and this was an epic match. It was 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4. Carlos Alcaraz could have a memorable Sunday.
