This is the one where the players know that they will have a chance to win the fans and get famous in an instant because the whole world will be watching and so let’s see the favorites to win the Men’s and Women’s singles at Wimbledon 2023

Women’s Singles

Iga Swiatek

The world number 1 and the French Open champion looks to be the favorite to win this event as well. She is just 22 and has already won 4 Grand Slams and the sky is the limit for her and she will only get better and she will look to win her 5th Grand Slam and push herself to be the best player In the past few years. Iga Swiatek has a very good backhand and she hits winners on a regular basis.

Aryna Sabalenka

The World number 2 is the second favorite to win the Wimbledon title this year and she is the hardest hitter of the ball in the women’s game and she is also a left handed player which gives her a distinct advantage against her opponents and when she is in her best form then there is nobody on the planet that can stop her. She just needs to get over her big match pressure that she tends to feel at these Grand Slams and if she is able to do that then she has a good chance of beating Iga Swiatek for the title this time around.

Elena Rybakina

The World number 3 from Kazakhstan is also one of the best players on tour and she is also one of the most liked players as well as everyone loves her. She is also the defending champion from Wimbledon last year and she will be eager to retain her title yet again and go up in the rankings. The World numbers 1 and 2 need to watch out for her

Men’s Singles

Novak Djokovic

Out of all the events supposed to be held at Wimbledon this year there is no clearer favorite to win their event as much as Novak Djokovic is the one to win the Men’s Singles event. He is a 4 time reigning defending champion of Wimbledon and he will love to tie Roger Federer to win his 8th Wimbledon and he is the best form of his life at the age of 36 and he recently won the French Open and has won 23 Grand Slams and he will look to win his 24th to cement himself as the greatest tennis player of all time be it male or female. It would be a shock if he did not win.

Carlos Alcaraz

The best young male tennis player in the world and if it had not been for Novak Djokovic, he would have won 5 Grand Slams by now but he will go into this year’s Wimbledon as the world number 2 and the second favorite to win the Wimbledon this year. He will easily go into the semi final and then he will have his real test and if Novak Djokovic comes up against him then he will have to play his best tennis to beat him. He can do it but it would take a miracle or Novak Djokovic playing a bad match which rarely happens.

Casper Ruud

Casper Ruud is yet another young player who has emerged in the last few years out of the shadow of the big 3 but he has not been able to win a Grand Slam and he will be looking to change they at Wimbledon this year and he would like to play it one match at a time and then if he reaches the last few matches then he needs to keep his cool and play his best tennis of he wants to reach the next level and he has the skills to win the Grand Slam.
