This is a question that has been doing the rounds because we are approaching the end of the tournament and now we will look at the 3 players who I feel are in the Top positions to get the Player of the tournament and these are the best 3 of the World Cup and 2 of them are in the semi final.
Before we get on to the list of these names I have to say that if the ICC Player of the tournament is from the winning side then the happiness is double and if it is not from the winning team then it is only a consolation prize for that player.
So, let’s look at the 3 Players I have chosen to be the ICC T20I World Cup Player of the tournament.
Virat Kohli
The best player of this World Cup and he has come back in this World Cup with a bang and he is the frontrunner to win this coveted prize but this does not matter to him as he wants to win the World Cup and in the process if he gets this award then it would mean a lot more to him. He has scored till now 236 runs in this World Cup with 1 semi final to go and potentially the Final.

Surya Kumar Yadav
The second player in my list is the most dynamic and the best T20I batter in the world and he is none other than Suryakumar Yadav. He has made 225 runs till now and he also has 1 more match to go and he has made all these runs at a mind boggling strike rate of 190+. So he is also in serious running for this award.
Sikandar Raza
The third player that I have chosen for this award is someone whose team is out of the World Cup but his performance in this World Cup has been the best all round performance I have seen in a long time. He has scored the most runs for Zimbabwe and also took the most wickets for Zimbabwe. He made 160+ runs and took 10 Wickets. A truly sensational performance.
