The last of our World Cup squads articles is here and we are concluding with the Ireland team as they were the last ones to announce the team for the World Cup. We have talked about 8-9 different squads and all of them are good teams and this Ireland squad is no different. Ireland will be a good team as recently they have had a lot of quality opposition teams visiting them regularly and thus their players have got more game time and the pitches in Australia will suit them a lot.
Before we talk about this Ireland squad, I want to say how excited I am to watch the T20I World Cup starting in October and will go on till November with more countries hopefully adding in the next T20I World Cup in 2024. So, let’s look at the Ireland squad.

STRENGTHS
Their main strength is their batting and they will need to use thag strength to the best of their advantage and make big Scores to go ahead in this tournament.
WEAKNESSES
The main weakness is that they have no bowler who can bowl over 140 that can scare the batters as they are medium pace bowlers so they will leak a lot of runs and their spinners are not good either.

OPPORTUNITIES
This team has a great opportunity to shock everyone in this tournament and go ahead and make a name for themselves and Paul Stirling jas a great opportunity to score runs for Ireland and get a lot of runs.
THREATS
As I said before, their fast bowling and spin bowling can be taken apart by the other teams so that is the biggest Threat facing this promising Ireland team going into the World Cup.
