The inaugural T20 World cup champions (2007) India are one of the favourites for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. They are starting this competition in the Group 2 from the Super 12 stage.
In this Group 2, India will face Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe (Group B champions in the First Round) and Netherlands (Group A runners-up in the First Round). Only the top two sides of this Group 2 will ultimately qualify for the Semi-finals of this tournament.
