Sports Injury is an inevitable thing for a sportsperson. The amount of bodywork that goes into getting better at a sport is going to cost the human body. The phrase “Success requires sacrifice” comes to mind when we talk about injuries. The best sports personalities around the world have had some form of injury during their career. There is not one successful sportsperson who has not had to sit out of their sport due to injury.
The divide between great sportspersons and average players in the game is the level of the well-maintained recovery process that they go through. With every injury comes patience and mental strength but it also comes with understanding the best way to recover and prevent the injury. There are many who will say that superstars, when injured, get world-class treatment and that is not possible for the general population. This is very true but to refute that statement the argument would be that no matter how good of doctors they have around them if they themselves do not understand the recovery process then all come to knot. This is the truth. The individual education of every injury and the basic understanding of what is required to heal and prevent that injury again is what matters most.
The basis behind this section is to help sportspersons around the world to understand how they can prevent their injuries, when injured, how they can maintain and work on their recovery, and once recovered, how they can stay in shape.
We want to educate the general sports community with basic steps to keep themselves healthy and understand for themselves how and what they can do to stay injury-free.
We have categorized the injuries into:
Soft Tissue Injury ( Soft Tissue Injuries & their symptoms )
Muscle Injury ( Muscle Injuries and their symptoms )
Bone Injury ( Fractures | Types, Causes, and Symptoms )
This way there is a better understanding of the specific kind of recovery process one can take. We want to help the community differentiate on these bases.
We would also love to hear from you. Give us insight into your injury and the recovery process you went through so that we can help others follow the same.
