As soon as Joe Hendry eliminated Moose a new champion was guaranteed. The fans at the arena and those watching at home were fully behind Joe Hendry. However TNA made one of its biggest booking mistakes as Josh Alexander turned heel and eliminated Joe Hendry. The fans were not happy and they were abusing. Nic Nemeth finally pinned Josh Alexander to win the TNA World Championship. This was one of the best matches of the year but with the wrong outcome. Nic Nemeth is a legend but Joe Hendry is the biggest star in TNA and the company failed to capitalize on the momentum. Joe Hendry also looks to be WWE bound once how contract with TNA expires.
