AEW Grand Slam 2025 Predictions

AEW Grand Slam Australia is the first big AEW show that will take place in a country not the USA or United Kingdom. This show has gone through some unfortunate things. First it was supposed to be held at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane Australia in front of 52,000 fans. Then it was shifted to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. This show will take place on 15th February 2025.

Let’s look at the Matches at this show and Predict the winners of those Matches

Mariah May vs Timeless Toni Storm for AEW Women’s Championship

This match will be the main event of this show. Toni Storm is the biggest Australian star at this show. Timeless Toni Storm has returned and she and Mariah May have unfinished business. They had a Banger at All In In at Wembley Stadium. Mariah May has been a good Women’s champion but Toni Storm will win the AEW Women’s Championship at Grand Slam Australia. The 10,000 fans would be loud for their local Hero Toni Storm.

Will Osperay and Kenny Omega vs The Don Callis Family

This tag team match will feature the four best wrestlers In the company. Kenny Omega recently returned in the month of January after a long layoff. He had a phenomenal match against Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty. Will Osperay is the face of AEW and these two wrestlers have had to team up together to take on the Don Callis Family. Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita will be their opponents in this match representing the Don Callis Family. This could be a match of the year contender. Kenny Omega and Will Osperay will win this tag team match which will result in their singles match at a PPV.

Kazuchika Okada vs Buddy Matthews for AEW Continental Championship

This is the second match on this show that will feature an Australian wrestler competing on this show. This match will be Kazuchika Okada vs Buddy Matthews. Buddy Matthews has not got a lot of opportunities to showcase himself on the biggest stage. This match will give him the perfect opportunity and he has Kazuchika Okada as his opponent. This could be an instant classic if given 20 minutes. Kazuchika Okada will win this match and continue his dominant reign as the Continental Champion.

Mercedes Mone vs Harley Cameron for AEW TBS Championship

This will be the second women’s championship match that will happen at this show. It will be the experienced Mercedes Mone vs Harley Cameron who is the new and up and coming star in the women’s division. This match will be one of the most important matches for the company. Harley Cameron can put a performance that can cement her as the future of the women’s division. Mercedes Mone will help her have a great match. Mercedes Mone will win the match and continue her reign as the champion. There looks to be no women who can dethrone Mercedes Mone at the moment.

Jay White and Cope vs The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli in a Brisbane Brawl

This is the match that has 4 very experienced pro wrestlers. 3 of them are ex WWE superstars. The Death Riders has been one of the weakest AEW storylines and the fans have given up after almost 5 months of nothing. Cope is none other than Adam Copeland or better known as Edge. This being a Brisbane Brawl adds a new element to the match making it fun and the use of weapons is allowed. The winner of this match will be Jay White and Cope. This will then build on to a Singles match between Jon Moxley vs Cope.
