The Asian Shooting Championships
2024 were held in Jakarta (Indonesia) in January 2024. The top two eligible shooters (maximum one per
country) in the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event at the Asian Shooting
Championships 2024 would secure
the national quota for the Paris 2024 Olympics. However, each nation can secure
a maximum of two quotas in any one event for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
During the qualifying round in
the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol event at the Asian Shooting Championships 2024,
Vijayveer Sidhu finished in fifth place with 577 points.
