Kishore Jena Early life
Kishore Jena was born on 6th September 1995. He hails from Kothasahi village in Puri, Odisha. His parents are paddy farmers.
In childhood, Jena was a volleyball player, but his short height evolved into an issue. Later, he chose the javelin throw sport. Since 2018, Jena has been working for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Bhopal.

After finishing fifth place in the World Athletics Championships 2023, Jena claimed the silver medal in the Asian Games 2022.
