Here check out the top 5 players who have played most matches in the NFL in recent years.
Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson comes into the fantasy football season ranked as the 3rd best option at the position for week 1. Wilson has consistently been in the top 5 at the position and finished again as the 4th best quarterback for the 2019 season.
Wilson has a chance to repeat as a top 5 quarterback in the 2020 season and will start his run against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons were the 27th worst defense against the quarterback based on fantasy points per game.
This is a big matchup boost for the already stellar Wilson who will have a strong showing in week 1.

Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson surpassed Michael Vick`s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a team`s first 8 games. Each year, there's always a quarterback that gets drafted late but winds up being a top 5 player and this season that man is Action Jackson.

Passing touchdown: 12 (T-16)
Attempts: 99 (T-21)
Rushing yards; 637 (11)

Patrick Mahomes
Quarterback, Kansas City Chiefs Mahomes absolutely dominated this year, and you'd be hard pressed to find an NFL GM who would choose any other quarterback right now to start a franchise with. He`s a top 3 candidate and likely the favorite for NFL Most Value Player .
As far as fantasy goes, Mahomes was the best player in the league. He finished as a top 10 quarterback twelve times, and was a top 5 quarterback seven times. Through 16 weeks, he scored 388 standard fantasy points, an average of 25.9 fantasy PPG.
The next highest player was Ben Roethlisberger, who was 71 points behind him. The highest scoring non-quarterback was Todd Gurley, who was 87 points behind Mahomes. Combine that with the fact that Mahomes was being drafted frequently outside of the top 10 rounds and he's the clear choice for fantasy football`s 2018 Most Value Player award.

Cam Newton
Over 750 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground accounted for over 110 fantasy points. Cam Newton had more rushing yards than Alvin Kamara. One thing Cam didn't have last year was out of action for a good part of the year. Cam does have a capable arm, he wasn`t just drafted for his legs. He's had multiple seasons with over 3,800 passing yards, which is a lot for a quarterback who adds an extra 500-700 on the ground.
Cam`s down year came when he only rushed for 300 yards, although he did finish with more passing yards. It`s a confusing situation for Cam, a lot of ups and downs, but most importantly Cam has bette weapons, and an offensive scheme that will help him improve as a passer. The offensive line doesn't help him improve as a passer.

Ezekiel Elliott
Even with an offensive scheme change, Ezekiel Elliot is likely the closet player you can possibly find to being a lock for a top 5 finish. Elliot has finished top 12 in points each of his first four years in the league, ending up in the top 5 in three of those years, and ultimately would have finished top 5 in 2017 (on pace for 3rd in points) without his 6 game suspension. Zeke is coming off another solid season as he posted the 3rd most points among right backs (311.7) and was the 2nd most consistent right back (0.302), continuing his yearly success.
Elliott has also posted the single best 3 year consistency rating among right backs (0.370), showing he is a top tier option not only on a yearly basis, but week in and week out. Heading into 2020, there are a very select few notable concerns for Elliot`s fantasy prospects. Another potential concern is in the addition of CeeDee Lamb, which ultimately may take away from Elliott`s receiving workload, but in turn should drastically improve his YPC and per carry efficiency with defenses no longer able to stack the box against Elliott.
