One of the successful Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) teams, U Mumba, are ready for the 11th season of the PKL. The Mumbai-based team is one of the eight teams featured in the inaugural PKL edition.
U Mumba’s success stories were written in the early seasons of the PKL. Mumba reached the finals of all the first three PKL seasons. However, they won the PKL trophy once.
After losing the PKL 1 final against Jaipur Pink Panthers, U Mumba won their only PKL trophy after beating Bengaluru Bulls in the PKL 2 final. In the PKL 3 final, Mumba lost against Patna Pirates.
Apart from the first three PKL seasons, U Mumba have reached the semi-finals in one more PKL season. In PKL 7, Mumba reached the semi-finals but narrowly lost to the Bengal Warriors in the semi-final.
In the last PKL season (2023/24), U Mumba finished in tenth place.

Expectations for the upcoming season
