One-time runners-up Haryana Steelers are ready for their next challenge in the 11th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). The Haryana-based PKL team has been competing since PKL 5 (PKL 2017).
The Haryana Steelers have always performed as a strong challenging team. They reached the eliminators twice out of their first three PKL seasons.
In the last PKL season (2023/24), the Haryana Steelers advanced to the eliminators. Later, they performed well to reach the semi-finals and then claimed another win in the semi-finals. The Steelers ultimately played their first PKL final in the PKL 10. However, in the PKL 10 final, the Steelers lost against Puneri Paltan and finished as the runners-up.

Expectations for the upcoming season
While Haryana Steelers lost their first PKL final last season, they will surely want to achieve the ultimate success this season. Steelers signed three all-rounders, including going for Mohammedreza Shadloui Chiyaneh up to INR 2.07 crore. While the team will miss Mohit Nandal, Jaideep will need to play a big role in the defense.
