The Gujarat Giants started their PKL journey in the fifth edition of the PKL (PKL 2017). In their first two PKL seasons, the Giants reached the finals but failed to win both finals.
In the PKL 5 final, the Gujarat Giants lost against Patna Pirates. In the next PKL season, the Giants lost the final against Bengaluru Bulls.
In the last PKL season (PKL 2023/24), Gujarat Giants finished the league stage in fourth place in the points table. However, they lost the eliminator against Haryana Steelers.
