VIVO Pro Kabaddi is a revolutionary tournament that marked the comeback of this sport. The tournament kicked-off in 2014. Ever since its inception, Kabaddi has evolved a lot with new innovations and ideas. This year, we are witnessing the 7th season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi. The event is being held for four months from July till October.

5. Dabang Delhi K.C vs Haryana Steelers (22 points) – September 7, 2019
The in-form Haryana Steelers registered a massive victory against Dabang Delhi at Netaji Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium, Kolkata. This walkover helped them move a step closer to the playoffs. Haryana Steelers found form early in the match.
However, they immediately lost the momentum and were on the verge of an All-Out. The game was not done yet. Thanks to the substitute raider Naveen who flip-flopped the match by a Super Raid. Following which a Super Tackle from Vikas Kale helped the Steelers to carry the momentum.
There was no looking back for Haryana Steelers. Super 10s from Rai and Kandola gave them an upper hand. Also, they inflicted two All-Outs. Haryana Steelers marked their 5th consecutive victory with the skipper giving a finishing touch by adding a tackle point to his tally. The league-leaders faced a reality check as Haryana Steelers won the match by a sweeping scoreline of 47-25.

4. UP Yoddha vs Fortune Giants (25 points) – July 26, 2019
Fortune Giants, a balanced side with several hungry young talents did kick start their campaign in the tournament in style. Fortune Giants bagged the runners-up in the last two seasons. They did not fail to continue their impressive form as they cruised to a 44-19 victory against U.P. Yoddha.
The match that took place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad was a feast to the fans. In a nip and tuck 6 minutes, 4-4 scores were recorded. A 2-point raid by Sachin gave the team a vital momentum. With an All-Out, the Giants took a 12-5 lead in the game.
Extraordinary performances of Rohit Gulia and Parvesh Bhainswal assured the Giants a comfortable victory. Rohit scored his first Super 10 in his Vivo Pro Kabaddi journey. and Bhainswal picked up a High 5.
Just like it happened for them against Bengaluru Bulls in their first match, in the closing seconds, Raider Sonu came off the bench and scored a three-point Super Raid. The Fortune Giants registered a massive victory margin of 25 points against U.P Yoddha.

3. U Mumba vs Pink Panthers (26 points) – August 31, 2019
The U Mumba emerged as victors with a 47-31 handing over the Pink Panthers their third consecutive loss in the tournament. U Mumba’s mixed form continued with a loss against Delhi and one of the biggest victories in terms of points margin in against the Pink Panthers.
The match was held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore. U Mumba kicked off the match with a 5-0 lead. The Jaipur Pink Panthers fought back with a two-point raid but in vain they suffered an All-Out in the next few seconds.
Another All-Out and U Mumba got a 14-point lead. Also, the team went into the break with the largest half-time lead, 16 points in Season 7. A couple of Super Tackles helped Pink Panthers from suffering a major defeat. However, the pressure and Abhishek’s Super 10 gifted the U Mumba a 26-margin victory.

2.Tamil Thalaivas vs Patna Pirates (26 points) – September 9, 2019
The Patna Pirates’ 51-25 win over Tamil Thalaivas added on to their winless journey at Kolkata. Patna played out the Tamil Thalaivas inflicting an All-Out in just the 9th minute of the match. They took full control of the match with an 11-4 lead.
Pradeep, most commonly known as the ‘Record Breaker’ showed no mercy on the Tamil Thalaivas. Halfway into the match, the ‘Record Breaker’ became the first person ever to reach 1000 raid points in the league history. Tamil Thalaivas fought back with a Super Tackle against Pradeep but the damage was already made.
After the break, Tamil Thalaivas suffered another All-Out. Pradeep continued his magical form, two super raids on the trot and enforced the third All-Out. Patna Pirates inflicted the fourth All-Out and crossed the 50-point mark, reaching the highest team score this season. Pradeep outstood with his contribution of 26 raids points.

1. UP Yoddha vs Bengal Warriors (31 points) – July 24, 2019
Bengal Warriors registered the biggest victory of this season in terms of points in their very first match. Mohammad Nabibakhsh helped Bengal Warriors win by a comprehensive scoreline of 47-25 against UP Yoddha. This commanding display took place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
U.P Yoddha took control early in the game with some good defensive tackles. A two-point raid by the Warriors’ skipper helped them obtain their first scores. Nabibakhsh inflicted the first All-Out of the night in the 14th minute.
Bengal Warriors took charge of the game and entered the break by scoring 9 points in the last five minutes. A few successful successive raids and cleverly executed tackles helped the Warriors lead by 17-9 in the first half.
The break did not change the fortune of Bengal Warriors. They had an extraordinary lead in the game by 33-13 points in the 26th minute. They set up in a total of four All-Outs against U.P Yoddha. And with an excellent defence, they marked the biggest win of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7.
