1. MS Dhoni
It is impossible to list out a record related to wicket keeping without the name of MS Dhoni in it. MS Dhoni is undoubtedly the best cricket keeper that cricket history has ever seen. Playing for Chennai Super Kings from the very first edition of IPL, Dhoni as captain, batsmen and keeper has moulded many victories to the team. In IPL, Dhoni has made a total of 148 dismissals which includes 109 catches and 39 stumpings.
2. Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik has established as one of the most fearsome batsmen as well as a successful wicket keeper in IPL. Now playing for the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, Dinesh Karthik is the second most successful wicket keeper in IPL so far. Karthik has made 140 dismissals in IPL which includes 110 catches and 30 wickets. This makes Dinesh Karthik the second entry to this list.
3. Robin Uthappa
Robin Uthappa was never a full time wicket keeper in his international career. But he has a good history as a wicketkeeper in IPL and has proven as one of the most trusted keepers behind the stumps. In his IPL career, Uthappa has played for various IPL franchises. In his long IPL career Robin Uthappa as a keeper has made a total of 90 dismissals which includes 52 catches and 38 stumpings. This statistics shows that Uthappa is the third successful wicket keeper in IPL history.
4. Parthiv Patel
One of the best wicket keepers in Indian international cricket history, Parthiv Patel has played for various franchises in the past years of IPL from the very first season. He debuted as a teenage wicket keeper in International cricket and produced some amazing performances. Pathiv Patel is also the fourth most successful wicket keeper in IPL history. In IPL, Parthiv has made a total of 82 dismissals which include 66 catches and 16 stumpings.
5. Naman Ojha
Naman Ojha has worn the keeping gloves for teams SunRisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League. This Madhya Pradesh wicket keeper is the fifth most successful wicket keeper in IPL history with 75 dismissals. These 75 dismissals include 65 catches and 10 stumpings.
