Tim David Story

Timothy Hays David was born on 16th March,1996. He is a Singaporean-Australian cricketer. He represents the Singapore national cricket team and plays T20 franchise cricket all over the world. He made his international cricket debut in July,2019. He is a right handed batsman and can bowl right arm off spin. His height is 196 cm.

He is well known for his big hitting skills. In the 2016-17 season, he burst onto the scene as he scored 137 runs against South Australia for Western Australia at the WACA, Perth. He was from Claremont-Nedlands, Western Australia. He smashed world class bowling attacks across the ground. He unbeaten 37 and 55 against the England touring sides. He also helped the Big Bash franchise Perth Scorchers to achieve their highest ever run chase in 2018 at the WACA. He earned a state rookie contract in the 2018-19 season but his foot injury prevented him from playing in that tournament. After getting rewarded for his performances, he was pretty disappointed with his injury. Later that year, he made his international debut for Singapore, his birthplace, and continued showing his attacking displays. His team missed out on the World Cup qualification by a small margin. Tim continued to show the world his talents and never showed any mercy to the bowlers. He played for the Perth Scorchers in Big Bash season 9 and then in Big Bash season 10, he was lured by the franchise Hobart Hurricanes to boost their middle order.

In his T20 international career, he scored 558 runs in 14 innings with a strike rate of 158.52 which includes 50 fours and 26 sixes. His highest score is 92. In his T20 franchise career, he scored 1965 runs in just 83 innings with a strike rate of 159.36 which includes 142 fours and 115 sixes. The numbers speak for themselves. The number of sixes he hits is simply ridiculous. Not only did he hit sixes but he also picked up 8 wickets in his franchise career so far. In his List A career, he scored 745 runs in 14 innings with a strike rate of 123.14 which includes 69 fours and 28 sixes. He picked up 9 wickets in this format.

He was picked up by the Mumbai Indians in this year's IPL. Till now, we haven't witnessed his explosive batting this year. Mumbai Indians are certainly hoping to see one pretty soon.
