field first, Rajasthan Royals scored 196/3 in 20 overs, thanks to captain Sanju
Samson (68 not out off 38 balls) and Riyan Parag’s (76 runs in 48 balls) brilliant
knocks.
In reply, Gujarat Titans' openers Sai Sudharsan (35) and captain Shubman Gill (72 runs in 44 balls) set up a solid start, and late batters had crucial match-winning cameos, including Rashid Khan's match-winning last-ball four (24 not out in 11 balls).

- Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has now taken 58 T20 wickets for Rajasthan Royals. It is the most IPL wickets by a Rajasthan Royals spinner as he broke the leg-spinner Shane Warne’s record of 57 IPL wickets for this team. However, Chahal has now equalled the most T20 wickets record as a spinner with Shane Warne as both have recorded 58 T20 wickets for RR. Only the pacers Siddharth Trivedi (67 T20 wickets) and Shane Watson (65 T20 wickets) have more T20 and IPL wickets than Chahal.
