Shikhar Dhawan 200th IPL Match Achieves Multiple Milestones

The 36-year-old Indian left-handed opening batter Shikhar Dhawan had a memorable experience during his 200th IPL match last Monday (25th April) night. In that game, he not only won the Player of the Match award for his match-winning knock, but he also climbed up in some other big batting record books.

It was the 38th game of the IPL 2022, where Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings (PBKS) faced Ravindra Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Wankhede Stadium. Opener Shikhar Dhawan’s 88 not out off 59 balls (9 fours and 2 sixes) helped PBKS to manage 187/4 at the end of the first innings.

In reply, CSK only managed to score 176/6 (20 overs) as PBKS won that game by 11 runs.
