During the Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2023, Ravindra Jadeja created a new history in the tournament. The slow left-arm orthodox bowler became the first left-arm bowler to complete 150 IPL wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja, who is serving the IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a long time, is one of the greatest all-rounders in the present cricket generation.
In the IPL 2023 Qualifier 1, when CSK faced Gujarat Titans (GT) at Chennai, Jadeja played a crucial all-round role for his CSK team, who ultimately won that game to advance to the Final of this competition. After GT sent them to bat first, CSK scored 172/7 in 20 overs. Later, GT were bowled out for 157 runs (20 overs) as CSK confirmed their 10th IPL Final appearance with a 15-run win.

During that game, the left-handed middle-order batter Jadeja first scored 22 runs off 16 balls with two fours. Later, the slow left-arm orthodox bowler had the bowling figures of 4-0-18-2, which were the best bowling figures in that game.
Jadeja’s first wicket in that game helped him to complete his 150 IPL wickets. It was the wicket of Dasun Shanaka (17 runs). In his next over, Jadeja took his 151st IPL wicket by dismissing another dangerous batter David Miller for only four runs.
