The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, or the IPL 2025, recently started, where every team has played their season opener.
Here, we are going through the names of the youngest and oldest cricketers of each team in the IPL 2025.
Chennai Super Kings
Youngest: Andre Siddarth (18 years and 206 days)
Teenage Andre Siddarth impressed in domestic cricket. While he is the second youngest player in the IPL 2025, he is yet to make his IPL debut.
Oldest: MS Dhoni (43 years and 258 days)
Legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is the oldest cricketer in the IPL 2025. He holds the record for most IPL matches, as he has appeared in 264 IPL matches till 2024.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Youngest: Angkrish Raghuvanshi (20 years and 290 days)
Angkrish Raghuvanshi is the youngest player for KKR in the IPL 2025. He made his IPL debut in 2024 and played 10 IPL matches.
Oldest: Moeen Ali (37 years and 277 days)
Former England all-rounder Moeen Ali is the oldest player for KKR this IPL season, while he has played 67 IPL matches till 2024.
Delhi Capitals
Youngest: Vipraj Nigam (20 years and 237 days)
Vipraj Nigam is the youngest Delhi Capitals player in the IPL 2025, who made his IPL debut in the 2025 season.
Oldest: Faf du Plessis (40 years and 252 days)
Former South African captain Faf du Plessis is the oldest Delhi Capitals player in the IPL 2025. He has played 145 IPL matches before joining Delhi Capitals for the 2025 season.
Gujarat Titans
Youngest: Kumar Kushagra (20 years and 150 days)
Gujarat Titans youngster Kumar Kushagra is the youngest player for his team in the IPL 2025. He made his IPL debut in 2024 and played four matches in that season.
Oldest: Ishant Sharma (36 years and 201 days)
The tall and experienced Indian pacer Ishant Sharma is the oldest Gujarat Titans player for the IPL 2025, while he has played 110 IPL matches till 2024.
Lucknow Super Giants
Youngest: Arshin Kulkarni (20 years and 35 days)
The 20-year-old cricketer Arshin Kulkarni made his IPL debut in the 2024 season and played two matches for LSG.
Oldest: David Miller (35 years and 285 days)
South African middle-order batting legend David Miller is the oldest LSG player for the IPL 2025 season. Till 2024, he has played 130 IPL matches.
Mumbai Indians
Youngest: Allah Ghazanfar (19 years and 2 days)/Raj Bawa (22 years and 130 days)
Afghan cricketer Allah Ghazanfar was the youngest name for MI for the IPL 2025. But as he has been ruled out of the tournament, Indian cricketer Raj Bawa is the active youngest player for MI this IPL season, who made his IPL debut in 2022 and played two IPL matches.
Oldest: Rohit Sharma (37 years and 326 days)
The five-time IPL-winning captain Rohit Sharma is the oldest MI player for the IPL 2025. He has made 257 IPL appearances till IPL 2024.
Punjab Kings
Youngest: Musheer Khan (20 years and 23 days)
The 20-year-old Musheer Khan is the brother of Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan. Musheer is yet to make his IPL debut.
Oldest: Glenn Maxwell (36 years and 159 days)
Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell is the oldest PBKS player for IPL 2025, who has played 134 IPL matches till the 2024 edition.
Rajasthan Royals
Youngest: Vaibhav Suryavanshi (13 years and 360 days)
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already created history by becoming the youngest player to be sold in an IPL auction. He can now create history by making his IPL debut at the age of 14 years and become the youngest cricketer to make an IPL debut.
Oldest: Sandeep Sharma (31 years and 308 days)
Sandeep Sharma, who played two T20Is for India, is the oldest player for the Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2025. The right-arm pacer has played 127 IPL matches till 2024.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Youngest: Swastik Chikara (19 years and 353 days)
Teenage Swastik Chikara is the youngest RCB player for the IPL 2025. The youngster is waiting for his IPL debut.
Oldest: Virat Kohli (36 years and 137 days)
The leading run-scorer in IPL history, Virat Kohli, is the oldest RCB player for the IPL 2025. Kohli has played 252 IPL matches till 2024, all for RCB.
SunRisers Hyderabad
Youngest: Nitish Kumar Reddy (21 years and 300 days)
Nitish Kumar Reddy is the youngest cricketer for SRH in the IPL 2025. After his IPL debut in 2023, he played 15 IPL matches till 2024.
Oldest: Sachin Baby (36 years and 94 days)
Sachin Baby is the oldest SRH cricketer in the IPL 2025. He made his IPL debut in 2013 and has played 19 IPL matches till 2024 (last played in IPL 2021).
