He hit 3 hundreds and all better than the other and he hit 33 sixes in the IPL. Truly he has been the best in this IPL by a mile and now he will do great things for Indian cricket this year.

2) Mohit Sharma
Mohammad Shami was the Holder of the purple cap but only by 1 Wicket and this man played 3 Matches less than him. Mohit Sharma is the story of the IPL because he was a net Bowler last year and he had already won the purple cap and he has already played for India. This was the year of Mohit Sharma as he showed that if you put on the work and work hard then the rewards will come your way and Mohit Sharma should be very proud of the way he has played. He has played 14 Matches and he has taken 27 Wickets which means nearly 2 wickets per match. He has best figures of 5 wickets for 10 runs.

3) Rinku Singh
There cannot be a list of the Top 5 Best Players of IPL and not have Rinku Singh on it because this was the year where Rinku Singh went from am unknown name to one of the biggest superstars in the world and he had such a great season that everyone is happy for him because he is such a good person and good things happen to good people. He played in 14 IPL Matches and he made 474 runs which is the most by any batter batting number 6 or lower. His 5 sixes against Gujarat Titans will be the moment of the IPL and it will never be forgotten. Rinku Singh is in the Reckoning to play for India, that’s how good he has played.

4) Faf Du Plessis
The best overseas player in the IPL was none other than Faf Du Plessis. He had the orange cap for a long period of time this IPL and he was one of the reasons that RCB were in the tournament for a place in the playoffs. He was truly sensational and he seems to be aging backwards as at 38 he is playing his best cricket and is the fittest player in the world. He made 730 runs this IPL and he scored 8 half centuries which was the most this IPL and he hit 36 sixes which was also the most this season. 5) Devon Conway
The best player from the team that won the IPL is at the 5th place overall and that should tell everyone that how good a team CSK is that no one player stood out but still they played as a unit and at the end they won the IPL. Devon Conway was clearly the best player for CSK as he made over 650 runs and the is the third in the orange cap list and in the final he played such a crucial innings to allow his team to win the title. Devon Conway will be with the CSK team for years to come.
