This is a topic which is very interesting to write about because the sheer number of young Bowlers who have broken through this IPL season is enormous but we will limit it to the Top 5 according to me. Before we get into all that it has been very pleasing to see the number of fast bowlers who have come up from different parts of India and are shining in this IPL playing for different teams and many of them are left arm fast bowlers which India has felt a void of for a long time.
The IPL 2022 has been very good for the fast bowlers as well as spinners and I have loved their fearless approach to the game and not being intimidated by the batter in front of them. This is a new generation of Bowlers and it is a treat to watch them. Let’s look at the 5 Best Young Bowlers of IPL 2022.
Umran Malik - Sunrisers Hyderabad
This young fast bowler from Jammu is obviously one of those Bowlers who has impressed everyone a lot and mostly because of how fast he bowls and as an Indian fan seeing the fastest bowler in the world being an Indian is a different kind of happiness. He has also bowled the fastest ball of this IPL and the second fastest of all time at 157 km/h vs the Delhi Capitals. He needs to work on his line and length and he will soon be in the Indian team.
