SRH Vs KKR if defined in a few sentences, it should be defined as one team with the best reserve versus a team with no reserve at all. With injuries to Shivam Mav and Kamlesh Nagarkoti, they have lost the variety of pace options which they seemed to have. However, the one thing which goes in their support is their all-rounders and their spin attack. In Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, they have the best batting and bowling all-rounder in the league. Whereas in Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine they might have the most lethal spin attack in the league.
SRH has the most balanced team in the league with a like to like a replacement for every position. They have an unbelievable pace attack in Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Basil Thampi, Siddharth Kaul and Billy Stanlake. In Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan, Shahbaz Nadeem, and afghani stallion Nabi they also have amazing spin options. Their spinners combined with Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma and Yusuf Pathan they have a plethora of all-rounders. This combined with Kane Williamson and David Warner they have a team which could prove to be the best team at the end of the season. Now coming to the pick of for Dream 11. Our choices would be:
Wicket Keeper:
Wriddhiman Saha: Wriddhiman Saha would open the innings alongside David Warner, therefore, will get to face a lot of deliveries. With Warner, he also will not feel the pressure and might be able to build good innings. Dinesh Karthik cost 9.5 credits and Saha costs only 8 credits, therefore choosing Saha Instead of Karthik could prove beneficial later on in choosing another top order batsman.
Batsman:
David Warner: Agreed, he is coming after a long ban and lack of match practice at the top level. However, leaving out a player of his caliber might prove really harmful as if he plays even 10 overs he might take the fantasy league away from you if you fail to choose him.
Kane Williamson: Highly consistent. A 30-40 innings is something that is assured of him.
Chris Lynn: Same reason to chose him that can be given for David Warner. Highly destructive and can cause some real damage if stays for 10 overs.
Shubhman Gill: His potential was wasted when he was played at number 7 at KKR last season. However, it is expected that he might play at 4 or 5 this season. Also, the costs just 8 credits. A Bargain.
All Rounders: This is probably gonna be the easiest to chose for this game.
Sunil Narine: Will open the innings and a quickfire 30 and 1 or 2 wickets are almost certain. A Definite choice to take in the team.
Andre Russell: finisher, ability to hit big sixes and definite 4 overs. Also catches and run outs are not a far fetched thought when Andre Russell is considered.
Vijay Shankar/Shakib Al Hasan: Both of them will be middle order mainstay for the team. Shakib Al Hasan would be a better choice as we will also bowl a few overs and the Eden gardens pitch will favor him but choosing him would mean sacrificing on a bowler so we are gonna chose Vijay Shankar.
Bowlers:
Rashid Khan: A must. Lethal spinner and could prove the difference on an Eden garden pitch.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Credits 9. Probably India’s best swing bowler and has the knack of taking wickets in death overs. Perfect choice for a fast bowler.
Prasidh Krishna: He might be KKR’s death over bowlers alongside Lockie Ferguson and would be a great choice to be in your team. Also at 8 credits, he is gonna be a steal.
