CSK has most of their players on the wrong side of 30 whereas when it comes to Delhi Capitals, other than Shikhar Dhawan it is hard to find a player on the 30 plus side.
Now coming to the Dream 11 fantasy predictions it is gonna be very hard to pick this team and somewhere or the other strength of both the teams lie on the same side. Both have a solid middle order, enviable opening batsman and a wicketkeeper to be feared from. However, We will try our best to make the best possible 11 for this game.
Pitch And Weather Report:
Delhi pitch, Delhi temperature. Expect the temperature to go from 25 to 10 within a span of a few hours. Also, a lot of dew is expected which would make the toss very crucial. Pitch is traditionally known to assist spinners but being the first match of this season of IPL, too much prediction over pitch could backfire.
Wicket Keeper:
One of the toughest choice we had to make this season so far. Still sorry Dhoni fans, we are going with Rishabh(VC) for this game. This could be the in which the baton exchange might look very believable in the next 6 months. Sorry!Dhoni.
Batsman:
Too many quality openers in both the team. So, keeping the fact that openers get the maximum time on the crease we will go with the majority of openers. Our Picks will be:
Prithvi Shaw: Highly consistent and technically perfect.
Shane Watson(C): Has come out of great form from PSL. Though, failed in the first game. Still, keep patience he can come to form on any day. Also can chip in with a few overs as well.
Ambati Rayudu: Has a knack of scoring a lot of runs when it comes to IPL. Also, opens the innings so just the perfect choice for being another batsman.
Suresh Raina: One of the most consistent performers in all seasons of IPL. Except no different this season. A useful player top of the order.
S Iyer: Highly talented and has impressed with his captaincy. Will only get better under the guidance of Ponting and Ganguly. Both as a captain and as a player.
All Rounders:
The two choices for all-rounders were very difficult but still, the two choices for us will be:
Ravindra Jadeja: Has the ability to pull a trick out of hat whenever the team is in trouble.
Dwayne Bravo: Bowls at death over, bats at death overs. A few lofty hits and few wickets at death and hence as a result he is your best bet for a all-rounder in this game.
Bowlers:
K Rabada: Best Delhi Bowler. Will take a few wickets for sure. Very dangerous and is probably one of the best death bowlers alongside Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah.
I Sharma: Will start. Showed good form in the last match.
Imran Tahir: Just because of his performance in the last match.
