The much-awaited Men's FIH Hockey World Cup 2023 finally started with a bang. On the opening day of this competition, we saw four quality matches.
In Pool A, Argentina beat South Africa, and Australia outclassed France. Later, in Pool D, England thrashed Wales, while the hosts India claimed a great win against Spain. All four winners ended the day with clean sheets.
