The draw for the Women’s Euro 2025 qualifiers was conducted on Wednesday, 5 March 2024. This will be the 14th edition of the Championship set to be hosted in Switzerland from 2-27 July 2025. 51 out of 55 UEFA-affiliated teams have sought entry into the tournament’s qualifiers. The format in the league stage of the qualifiers has been the same as that of the UEFA Women’s Nations League with teams divided into leagues.
League A and B have 16 teams while C consists of 19 teams. The top two teams from each of the League A groups will automatically qualify for Euro 2025. The third and fourth-placed teams will then enter the play-offs, alongside teams from League B and C. The rankings are also determined by the standings of the Nations League.
Defending champions England have been drawn into the third group of League A alongside Olympic hosts France with Sweden and Republic of Ireland making up the rest. World champions Spain will take on Denmark, Belgium and Czechia in Group A2 while Germany entertain Austria, Iceland and Poland in their group. Meanwhile, the Netherlands will battle Italy, Norway and Finland to be in the top two of League A1.
