A huge cloud also hangs over poster boy Kylian Mbappe’s future as he opts to run down the final year of his contract to possibly join Real Madrid next summer. Brazilian star Neymar’s stay is also uncertain so the club is on the verge of losing all of its front trio. So, the 2023/24 season looks to be the most difficult one for PSG. The holders will begin their title defence at home to Lorient on 13th August 2023. The same opposition they lost 3-1 in Parc des Princes last season.
The tie against Lens in the third match will be an interesting one as PSG lost to them as well. The match away at Lyon comes right after at the start of September. The first Le Classique of the season against Marseille is on 24th September 2023 at home with the return leg at Stade Velodrome on 31st March 2024. The concluding game of the season is away at promoted side Metz on 18th May 2023.
