Summer Transfer Window 2022 is approaching fast. Check out here the Liverpool transfer news and rumors for the summer transfer window 2022.
Liverpool consider bid for Benfica's Nunez
Liverpool are considering making an offer for Benfica forward Darwin Nunez, who is valued by the Portuguese club at €100m (£85.5m).
The Uruguay international scored 34 times for Benfica last season in all competitions, including goals in both legs of the club's Champions League quarter-final defeat to Liverpool in April.
No offer has been made by Jurgen Klopp's side for Nunez, but Manchester United are also admirers of the 22-year-old.
Liverpool, however, are not prepared to enter a bidding war for the striker and will not pay over the odds for the player. Nunez is also one of a number of forwards Liverpool are looking at this summer.
Liverpool leading race to sign Aberdeen's Ramsay
Liverpool are leading the race to sign Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay this summer.
It's understood the Champions League finalists are Ramsay's preferred option out of a number of interested clubs from England, Italy and Germany.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue and it is now up to the clubs to agree a fee.
No formal approach has been made from Liverpool yet. And Aberdeen will only consider selling the player for well above their record fee, which currently stands at £3m.
Who is Calvin Ramsay? The youngster has been one of the shining lights for Aberdeen as they endured a tough season in the Scottish Premiership where they finished 10th in the table.
But it appears to be Liverpool who are winning the race for the young player who is regarded by many as one of the most talented teenagers in European football.
He broke into the team in the 2020/21 season and has made 39 appearances for the Dons in total and made his European debut in a 5-1 victory over Swedish side BK Hacken back in July in a UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier, starting at right-back and setting up the first goal.
In the 2021/22 season, he scored one goal and nine assists in all competitions.

Mane: I respect Liverpool | 'I'd rather play for Marseille than Bayern'
Sadio Mane insists he respects Liverpool "a lot" and that he was joking when he said he would fulfil the apparent wishes of Senegalese fans for him to leave Anfield.
Mane, who has 12 months left on his current deal and been strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich - said this week that up to 70 per cent of Senegalese people wanted him to move clubs.
According to The Times, Bayern Munich have seen an opening bid of £21m plus £4m in add-ons rejected by Liverpool for Mane, with the German club confident they can sign Mane for less than €50m (£42.5m) this summer.
However, after scoring a hat-trick for his country against Benin on Saturday, Mane rowed back slightly on his comments, saying: "I spoke yesterday while joking with a bit of humour and it was everywhere. I think we'll stop there.
"Liverpool is a club I respect a lot. The fans adopted me since day one. Regarding the future, we'll see."
Mane has continued his light-hearted tone about his future, after joking that his dream move is one to boyhood club Marseille.
"You know I'm not a fan of these teams," said Mane when asked about a move to Bayern, Real Madrid or Barcelona. "My club is Marseille, I would rather say Marseille."
