five promising midfielders ready for a big move

Europe has seen an influx of extraordinary midfielders in recent seasons. They are playing an anchor role in midfield and be the fulcrum point for their teams. Likewise, they are attracting interest from financially high clubs in the summer. We look at some of those names ready to make a big move to springboard their career to another level.

We have taken into account that these midfielders are either young or moving into their prime and also haven't experienced football on a big side.

Only top prospects from the position are arranged in this list.

1) Aurélien Tchouameni (AS Monaco)

Monaco has been known to produce elite stars in the future. Bernardo Silva and Kylian Mbappe to name a few. Now, Aurelien Tchouaméni is walking on the same line. The defensive midfielder has assisted Monaco to become a title challenger this campaign. His maturity at the age of 21 is worth noting. Tchouameni is eyed by Chelsea primarily with their former player and his teammate Cesc Fabregas admiring his versatility. Tchouaméni has a contract until 2024 so he will be a bit expensive at the moment.

2) Yves Bissouma (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Brighton's Yves Bissouma has been a key figure for his team's survival in the Premier League. The central midfielder from Mali has caught the eye of the Premier League biggies through his endless credible performances. Aged 24, Bissouma behaves like a midfield engine. He helps in the attack by chipping in goal at times and also has great defensive capability in him. Such characteristics are in great demand. According to the latest reports, Liverpool is looking at him to replace the departing Gini Wijnaldum.

3) Ryan Gravenberch (Ajax)

Ryan is another terrific product coming out of the Ajax academy. Labeled as the next Paul Pogba, he helped the club to another Eredivisie title this season. Gravenberch's ability is to be a box-to-box player but he does his best as a holding midfielder. That makes him a real asset for any team to have. He has also contributed eight goals and featured for the Netherlands too. He gains the upper hand height, strength and dynamism. Manchester United are linked with the midfielder.

4) Youri Tielemans (Leicester City)

Tielemans is playing the best season of his career. Starring from the youth level and now with Leicester City, the 23-year-old has made nine important goal contributions. But he is a lot more than that. His free role in the midfield this season has given him a lot more edge to his attacking play. Hence, the Foxes are now clinging to third place for Champions League football. Although he has been a transfer target, it is expected he will stay at Leicester and cherish their project. Tielemans has become a fan favorite out there.

5) Florian Neuhaus (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

Florian Neuhaus has caught the attention of the Liverpool hierarchy. And why not? The 24-year-old has played a comprehensive campaign with Borussia Monchengladbach. The German side are highly ambitious with Marco Rose completely turning the side around. It has helped Neuhaus too. A technically adept player, good while pressing and when pressed, Neuhaus ticked all the boxes to be a player for the big leagues. Moving to the Premier League will be a sensational move if it happens.
