The FA Cup 2023/24 fourth-round draw was made on Monday, 8 January 2024 with some exciting ties to look forward to. With six replays still to be played, the 30 teams at this stage will be decided after 18th January 2024. However, each team got to know their opponent in the fourth round following the draw with the games set to be played across the weekend of January 27.
The eye-catching meeting in the fourth round is certainly FA Cup holders Manchester City traveling to London to face Tottenham Hotspurs. The two played an entertaining 3-3 draw at the Etihad last year in the Premier League; fireworks are expected this time as well. City also has not won or scored at the new Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, a repetition of the streak will mean a new name on the trophy in May.
The other interesting tie is Chelsea hosting Aston Villa who have become Premier League contenders under Unai Emery. The Blues will hope to build on their recent good form to stay in the hunt for another cup competition having reached the semi-finals of the EFL Cup. Elsewhere, Newcastle will travel to Fulham having thrashed rivals Sunderland 3-0 in the last round. Last season’s finalists Manchester United will travel to the winner between Newport and non-league side Eastleigh.
