Europa League 2023/24 will commence with the first game of the group stages on 21st September 2023. The final of the competition will be held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Republic of Ireland in May next year. Record holders Sevilla won the title last season and have qualified for the 2023/24 Champions League campaign. This is the 15th season of the tournament since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup and the last in its current format.
From the next campaign, the Europa League or the second-tier club competition of Europe will no longer have 32 teams participating in the group stages. UEFA announced a brand new format with no clubs that could be transferred from the Champions League group stage under the Swiss Model. This edition's winner onwards will also not be able to defend the title.
