Amidst all the rumours and speculations in the last few months regarding Hazard’s move from Chelsea to Real has finally culminated, as the Former Chelsea forward is all set to join his dream club Real Madrid till 2024.

Hazard leaves Chelsea after he had just a few weeks back guided Chelsea to a 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku. The move was inevitable, as now the Former Chelsea striker had openly admitted his desire to leave Chelsea after the Season ends.

Last year Hazard admitted that he was unsure about signing a new deal with Chelsea, and always maintained that according to him Real Madrid will always be the best football club in the world. When asked about the possible transfer he said “ It has always been my dream to join Real since I was a child ‘’

Real although did not reveal the transfer fee, but Spanish media reports reckon Real have agreed to pay a fee that could exceed even a staggering 150 million euros for the star Belgium International. The Spanish club although said, “ Eden Hazard will be tied with the club for the next five seasons, until June 30 2024.” Hazard will be officially announced a Real Madrid player at Santiago Bernabeu stadium on June 13, after completing the mandatory medical test.

The 28 years had joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012  for 32 million pounds, and after 7 long years, Hazard finally said goodbye to Chelsea, after being part of several historic triumphs with the club. In his career at Chelsea, Hazard played a total of 353 games in which he scored 110 goals with 92 assists. He was a two-time Premier League champion, 2 times Europa League Champion, and also won an FA Cup and League Cup one time each.

This is possibly the most exciting signing so far this summer and Real would hope that Hazard continues to flourish as a player at Madrid and help them win the title like he did at Chelsea. Chelsea’s 4 time player of the playmaker of the year thanked the club and said that “ Leaving Chelsea is his biggest and toughest decision to date, I have always loved every moment at Chelsea.”

Chelsea now are in deep waters as they have been already placed under a transfer ban by FIFA and they will not be able to sign a replacement for Hazard. The EPL giants have been banned from signing players, during the next two transfer windows until the end of January 2020.
