The club will begin with a new philosophy to reclaim their glory in the Bundesliga. Their journey in the 2024-25 campaign begins with facing Wolfsburg in an away trip on 24 August 2024. After three rounds, Kompany’s team enters into a massive clash with defending champions Bayer Leverkusen hoping to create a statement. The first Der Klassiker of the season is also not far off with Dortmund hosting it on 30 November 2024 while they close down the year against another challenging side in the form of RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich end their season on the travel again with Hoffenheim their destination on 17 May next week. The team will have to manage the expanded Champions League and the international windows simultaneously in a congested calendar.
